As per the latest reports, Deepika Padukone's ex-manager Karishma Prakash who had supposedly gone 'untraceable' after being summoned by NCB is likely to appear before the investigating body tomorrow

Post a drug angle emerging in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case, the Narcotics Control Bureau went after the alleged drugs nexus in Bollywood. As per reports, names of many big celebrities came to fore. Stars like Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan were also summoned for questioning by the NCB. Later, the investigating body raided Deepika's ex-manager Karishma Prakash's house where reportedly they seized some hashish and 2 bottles of CBD oil. Reportedly, Karishma Prakash came into picture after one of the drug-peddlers arrested by NCB took her name. Post seizing, the NCB sent several summons to Karishma Prakash who then reportedly went untraceable.

Now, a report in India Today states that Karishma Prakash is likely to appear before the NCB tomorrow. A source has been quoted saying, "Deepika Padukone’s talent manager Karishma Prakash will appear before NCB officials tomorrow [Wednesday]". It is reported that the NCB handed over the summon to Karishma Prakash's mom after the manager did not respond to the summon sent earlier. To IANS, an NCB official had confirmed that Karishma Prakash went untraceable after she was issued a summon.

Further, there are reports that suggest that Karishma Prakash has already filed for an anticipatory bail by moving to a special NDPS court.    

Sushant Singh Rajput died on June 14, 2020. During the course of the Enforcement Directorate's investigation, reportedly a few deleted drug chats of his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty came to light. That's when the Narcotics Control Bureau stepped into the investigate the case.
